In taking action to we need to look at our daily lives and what may be causing harm to our ocean life. Microbeads in cosmetics is one thing you can avoid as these microplastics enter our food chain through fish and filter feeders, then travel to us!

The Shark nets have been removed for the sardine run at the Durban Beaches, so please heed the warning.

📢📢Bathing at Durban South and Central beaches is prohibited due to the removal of shark nets to allow for the Sardine Run.

The closure is effective immediately and beaches will only be re-opened once the Sardine Run has passed through.📢📢
