At this week’s BNI Dynamite meeting, the energy was buzzing as always! Members and visitors mingled over breakfast and coffee, creating a lively atmosphere of connection and collaboration.
Each member nailed their 60-second presentation delivering polished, succinct pitches, showcasing the strength of their businesses and the value of BNI's structured networking format. Visitors were clearly impressed by the professionalism and supportive culture in the room.
One of the highlights of the meeting was welcoming our newest member, Claus Obermeyer from Golden Ground Coffee. With his passion for top-tier, sustainably sourced coffee, he has us all excited (and a little more caffeinated). The perfect combo of coffee and cake came alive as Helen from Helen’s Confectionery unveiled her new logo and whisked us away on a delightful culinary journey, sharing her passion for crafting beautiful, handmade treats. Her presentation was not only mouth-watering but inspiring, as she shared the heart and craftsmanship behind her brand.
To add a creative twist to the meeting, the Growth Team challenged members to create a 1-minute radio ad about their businesses. This task is sure to bring out some fun and innovative ideas at the next meeting!
If you’re looking to grow your business through quality networking, why not join this dedicated team of small business owners and see what all the buzz is about? You will not only build strong business connections but also enjoy great company and a fantastic breakfast! Send us a mail [email protected] and one of our amazing visitor hosts will get back to you. Together Let's Change the Way the World Does Business.

Another week and another successful in-person meeting by the BNI Dynamite team. The law chambers were on fire this week as Colin Spies from Christo Mulder Attorneys was ajudged to have delivered the best 60-second presentation of the day and our other attorney Chantal Ward of VDM and Ward Incorporated was guilty of delivering an excellent 10 minute feature presentation. She packed in a lot of valuable information in a short time and made complex legal topics easy for us laymen to understand. At BNI, honouring members in the green highlights their commitment to passing referrals, attending meetings, and building relationships, which helps the entire chapter thrive. It's a celebration of teamwork and dedication, and our ambassador Lucy Bichanga was on hand to pay tribute to these outstanding members ... well done, you all. In our weekly VP Report, it was noted that in the last 12 months, the team has passed close to R3 500 000 worth of closed business between us, and if that amount makes you as a business owner sit up and get excited then why not drop us a mail at [email protected] and one of our ever helpful Visitor Host coordinators will contact you and set you up for an exciting and fruitful journey with BNI. Together We Can Change the Way the World Does Business.

Well done to Khizar Sultan and his team for taking up the reins as the new leadership and steering Wednesday's meeting with calm and professionalism. We are extremely excited to welcome two new members to our Dynamite family, Anthony van Gool, from Black Dot Construction specializing in alterations, building and renovations and Michael Wolmarans a biokineticist who can assist in improving your health and quality of life through exercise. Great to have you guys on board. Sunthesis', say that fast 3 times, Paul Lombard and Tsakani Ramadi from RIN Consulting have completed their Passport Program and officially received their badges. Our Director Consultant Ilse Mcque was on hand to pay tribute to some of our members who have proven their mettle over the past year, Christine Jordaan from PBS Appliance Installation and Repairs, the calculator master from Benchmark Capital Grant Martin, Randburg ECD's Michelle van der Berg, and Beverley Beukes of Oasis Haven were singled out for their tremendous contribution towards building this dynamic chapter ... kudos to you all and well deserved. For those who have been following the Growth Initiative battle, well, the war is over, and to the winners go the spoils. It was a closely fought contest with the Banana Bunch and Red 4 Danger joint first and the ever impressive Green Machine, let's just say, bringing up the rear and will host a braai for the winners. It's an amazing initiative that helped grow our chapter by 2 and highlighted the extraordinary benefits of being part of BNI to our visitors who joined us for a yummy breakfast and got to network with the team. If you would like to pop over for breakfast, listen to an interesting presentation from our attorney Chantal Ward of VDM and Ward Incorporated, and rub shoulders with like-minded business owners, then pencil in Wednesday at 7 at Benvenuto and drop a mail to [email protected] and Let's Change the Way the World Does Business.

With Spring having sprung, the Growth Initiative winding down, and the Dynamite team rejuvenated, it remained business as usual at our Wednesday meeting. The new top three in leadership steered the meeting in a trial run, which, under the guidance of our incoming president Khizar Sultan went professionally and smoothly, well done chaps. Khizar, from award winning company Zilo Personalization, specialists in the digital media industry, also happens to be our featured presenter this coming Wednesday. The 60-second presentations were, as always, excellent, but for best presentation, new member Vanessa from Ginger Graphix took home Mr Dynamite and gets a 2 minute slot this Wednesday. While on the subject of presentations, Maree from Just Property Heritage took us on an interesting and informative journey into the world of buying and selling property. Our Edu-slot was well handled by Christine, who got the team interacting with some interesting questions. Recognition is an important part of BNI's ethos, and besides the usual member accolades, our Director Consultant Ilse Mcque gave recognition to three of Dynamite's excellent performers who have brought in the most 'Thank You For Closed Business' this month and are an absolute asset to BNI Dynamite, Beverley Beukes from Oasis Haven, Christine Jordaan from PBS Appliance installation and Repairs and Michelle van der Berg from Randburg ECD, a clean sweep from the ladies... well done and congratulations. Congrats also to the Green Machine team for coming out tops in the weekly Growth Initiative presentations, Jessie and her team are like 'silent assassins' slowly chipping away at the leading teams. Red 4 Danger is still leading the points classification with the Banana Bunch still hanging out in the middle. The Growth team has put out the challenge to Dynamite to bring as many visitors to next week's meeting to highlight what we can offer as a business networking group. Teams will be given points dependent on the number of visitors they bring to the meeting. If you would love to pop in to see how we network and support one another and be part of our visitors drive, drop a mail to [email protected] and one of our vibrant visitor hosts will get back to you and set you up for an amazing breakfast and networking session. Together we can change the way the world does business.

The Dynamite team turned up at our Wednesday morning meeting with a 'spring' in their step, and that's how we knew Spring had arrived. The 3 teams came dressed in their 'battle regalia' to see who would prevail and get a top slot in the Growth Initiative competition. This initiative is a drive to help strengthen and build our chapter, BNI Dynamite. On the leader table The Red 4 Danger team is a smidgen ahead of the Banana Bunch, followed closely by the Green Machine but the Reds pulled out all the stops and also won best team for the day with their 'who's my hero' 60-second presentations... a deserved win. Whilst on the subject of recognition, Harold Sibanda, from Event Classic and Paul Lombard from Sunthesis, were given recognition for their tremendous growth within Dynamite, which can only benefit the whole chapter... kudos to you guys. Another member who has flourished within the chapter was our featured presenter Johan from Ready Accounting, who took what many might call a dull subject and made it extremely interesting and informative. This coming Wednesday, our seasoned property guru Maree Giles from Just Property Heritage, will walk us through any property pitfalls and tips - whether you're selling or buying it promises to be a captivating feature presentation. This Saturday is the highly anticipated BNI Leadership Training event as we prepare for the new crop of leaders to take over and lead the chapter for the next year. I'm sure a daunting yet fulfilling task and huge thanks must go out to all those who put up their hands to help steer and build BNI Dynamite. If you want to find out more about this dedicated group of small business owners and what we, as BNI Dynamite, can do for you and your business send us an email and one of our vibrant visitor hosts will get back to you. Looking forward to meeting and networking with you at Benvenuto next Wednesday at 7 o'clock in the morning, oh and let's not forget a scrumptious breakfast to boot. Send a mail to [email protected] and let's see how together we can change the way the world does business.

Wednesday's meeting at Benvenuto was a bitter sweet one as we said farewell to Gaby, who is joining another chapter, and Juanita, who is heading down to the coast. Both are loved members of Dynamite and will be truly missed, we wish them all the very best in the journey ahead. Now for the sweet stuff, Vanessa from Ginger Graphix has joined this dynamic chapter and with over 14 years of graphic design she is most certainly going to be an asset to us. As she so succinctly put it ... 'it felt as if I was home' ... welcome home, Vanessa, and happy networking. In other sweet news, we're excited to have Zandile from Ukubonga Cleaning back in the fold. Let's now turn to the serious but fun matter of the Growth Initiative, an initiative to help build our chapter. Well, let me tell you, the 3 teams are leaving no stone unturned to get any advantage they can in the competition, 'cut throat' stuff. Last week, Jessie and her merry band from the Green Machine pulled out a great win with an excellent presentation by the team ... congrats guys. With the finish line on the horizon, let's pull out all the stops to make this initiative a huge success ... I kind of want to say let's go bananas, but being as I'm in the Banana Bunch team, some may see it as bias ... oh, well, go bananas anyway. Last week's feature presentation by Christine from PBS Appliance Installation and Repairs was a look into what makes her business tick and how BNI has helped grow it. This coming Wednesday's Feature Presentation is a numbers game with Johan from Ready Accounting, taking us through the pitfalls and solutions of getting your taxes in order so that the dreaded SARS man doesn't pop over for coffee. They say there are 2 certainties in life, death and taxes, so if you'd like to find out how Johan can assist with the latter then why not join him and the rest of the amazing BNI Dynamite family for a yummy breakfast and networking session. Drop us a mail at [email protected] and we'll get in touch. Who knows, you may just bump into your future powerhouse referral partner and together we can change the way the world does business.

The BNI Dynamite Growth Initiative is in full swing with the team colours on display and brightening up the venue. The teams have embraced the competition with little battles emerging amongst the groups. Red 4 Danger is still top of the leader board closely followed by the Banana Bunch with the Green Machine bringing up the rear, but the competition still has a long way to run so it's still anyone's game. This initiative aims to strengthen and build the Dynamite team, and when our members take the time to renew their membership, then we know we're heading in the right direction. Thanks Chantal and Khizar for renewing youe memberships, and having the faith in your fellow members to assist in helping to build your businesses. The fact that this group of small business owners will go over and above to assist in growing your business says a lot about what we at BNI Dynamite are about. With great networking opportunities and quality referrals, why not take advantage of this and mail us at [email protected] and one of our friendly Visitor Host coordinators will help you become part of the BNI phenomenon and together we can change the way the world does business.

The Growth Initiative has taken off, and the teams have embraced the competition. Red 4 Danger took the best spirited team for the meeting with the Banana Bunch, still leading the points classification. Congratulations all, but remember, the war has only just begun. Under the guidance of Christine and Brad, our Edu-slot provides us with a deeper dive into the Growth Initiative and what we can do to help stimulate and grow our chapter. Chapter Ambassador, Lucy Bichanga, joined us for our meeting and gave recognition to the members who have embraced the team spirit and are in the 'green' on the traffic lights, in other words these are team players who have achieved a high level of engagement and performance within the chapter. The 60-second presentations were all well thought out and to the point. When it comes to taking a complicated subject like property conveyancy and making it interesting and exciting, then Colin Spies from Christo Mulder Attorneys did exactly that in his Feature Presentation. If financial security is what you want, then this coming Wednesday's feature presenter is our financial guru Grant Martin from Benchmark Capital, who will unpack the best way to make your money work for you. Why not send a mail to [email protected], join us for breakfast, network with like-minded business owners and listen to what Grant can do for you and your money.

Our Growth Initiative has been put into motion to help grow and strengthen BNI Dynamite. The aim is to target successful entrepreneurs who are looking for growth opportunities for their business and invite them to one of our meetings to find out how we at Dynamite can help grow their businesses as well as our chapter, a win-win situation. For this initiative, the chapter was divided into 3 teams, each competing for bragging rights and an awesome prize. Team leader Alishia from the yellow team, the Banana Bunch, led the team to a comfortable win in the first week, but as discussed previously, it's going to get 'ugly' for sure. It was with sadness that we said farewell to one of the doyens at BNI Dynamite, Jacintha McLeod from Nanyata. She was an absolute inspiration and aways happy to go the extra mile for the team. She will be missed but we're sure whatever she tackles next will be extremely successful ... from all of us at Dynamite thank you. In his Feature Presentation, Verdant Green Living's Brad gave us a peek into some exciting, sustainable products that he has on offer to help us live a greener lifestyle. Our newest team member from Event Classic Corporate Events, Harold Sibanda, was officially welcomed to the Dynamite family. If you, like Harold, would love to be part of this dynamic group of small business owners who are dedicated to helping each other grow their businesses then let our brilliant team of visitor hosts guide you through the simple process. So, join us for breakfast and network with your potential sales team by dropping us a mail at [email protected] and together we can change the way the world does business.
