Half-Day Hybrid Administrator / Personal Assistant -

After 14 years with our insurance brokerage, our valued assistant is retiring, creating an opportunity for someone to join our small independent financial services practice.

The role includes managing the advisor's diary, preparing client policy schedules using Astute, assisting with life policy servicing and investment administration, and attending to follow-up tasks arising from client meetings.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in the insurance industry (essential)

Own laptop

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

Strong organisational and administrative skills

RE5 qualification and compliance knowledge advantageous

Police clearance and credit check required

Comfortable working in a small, close-knit environment

Must not be allergic to or afraid of cats!

This is a half-day hybrid position and is best suited to someone looking for a stable, long-term administrative role rather than a corporate career path.

🚧👏 A big thank you to Discovery Insure and its Pothole Patrol initiative for helping make our roads safer for everyone.

Since its launch, the programme has repaired hundreds of thousands of potholes across Johannesburg through a partnership between Discovery Insure, Avis, the Johannesburg Roads Agency and the City of Johannesburg. By using technology and driver-reported data to identify road hazards, the initiative helps reduce vehicle damage, improve road safety and make daily travel a little smoother for all road users.

As insurance professionals, we see firsthand the impact that poor road conditions can have on motorists. It's encouraging to see private and public sectors working together to address a challenge that affects so many South Africans.
