Florida CPF Incident Report, Monday 15 September 2025

At approximately 2:00am this morning, CPF Chairperson Farhaad received information regarding possible criminal activity in the area. Backup was immediately requested, and Shaik Security, Help24 Secure, and Fidelity ADT responded to the call for assistance.

Upon arrival at TATA motor spares, the suspects fled the scene. It was established that a business break-in had occurred. Stolen goods were discovered inside the property on a trolley jack, as well as at the entrance gate, ready to be moved.

Thanks to the swift CPF and security response, most of the stolen property was recovered. However, the suspects did manage to get away with a few items. The balance of the goods, abandoned by the suspects, was later found by security and CPF on Lockies Lane.

The Containers on 3rd Avenue were thoroughly searched, including all the individuals occupying them, but no suspects or additional goods were found.

The business owner was contacted and a case has been opened with SAPS.

Florida CPF thanks the security companies for their quick response and urges the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.
