Success Report: Suspect Arrested in Gate Motor Theft Case

In a breakthrough operation, a suspect linked to a string of gate motor thefts was successfully apprehended in Cosmo City early this morning. Over the past few months, a silver Audi had been identified as a key vehicle involved in multiple thefts across the Honeydew policing precinct and other areas in Gauteng.

Acting on intelligence, an operational plan was coordinated, deploying teams from various security companies and organizations in the Honeydew area. At approximately 3 a.m., the suspect's vehicle was spotted, leading to a swift takedown by the team. One suspect, connected to over 11 incidents of gate motor theft, was detained. Both the suspect and the vehicle were handed over to SAPS for further processing.

This successful operation highlights the power of collaboration and teamwork among the following groups:

Guardmax
GP Tactical
SB Security
Tracker SA
Honeydew CPF
Beagle Watch Armed Response CCTV

Well done to all members involved in this remarkable effort to curb crime in the area.

We can confirm as of 31 December 2024 Bith Joshlyne and Dominic has returned home and both cases has been closed.

MISSING PERSON/S UPDATE
24 December 2024
16:00

We have taken note of social media posts claiming that Dominic has been found and also that Joshlyne has been in contact with some family members claiming to be okay.

In South Africa, a missing person case can be withdrawn under certain circumstances, typically when the person is found safe or new evidence clarifies the situation. The process involves the following steps:

Confirmation of the Person's Safety:

The person who was reported missing must be confirmed to be safe and alive. This is typically done through direct contact with the missing person by the police or the person who filed the report.

Submission of a Withdrawal Request:

The person who reported the case (the complainant) must inform the police of their intent to withdraw the case. They may need to provide a written statement explaining that the missing person has been found.

Neither of these 2 points has been done for either cases, so until then, it will remain open as a missing person/s.

We have recently seen a massive increase in Su***des for various reasons and it's concerning.

We want to bring awareness to this topic. Many times it's not something on anyone's radar until it's too late.

If you or a family member are battling with anything and had these self-harm thoughts then reach out to someone and have a chat! A family member friend or even the su***de hotline. Talk before it's too late!!!

Share this post with family and friends and remind them that you are always there should they need it.❤️

Do You Know Someone Who May Be Suicidal?
You can do something to help.

You can call SADAG to talk on behalf of a loved one, colleague, or friend.

Trained counsellors are there to help and refer you to local counsellors, facilities and

Support Groups.

How To Be Helpful to Someone Who Is Threatening Su***de

• Be direct. Talk openly and matter-of-factly about su***de.
• Be willing to listen. Allow expressions of feelings. Accept the feelings.
• Be non-judgmental. Don't debate whether su***de is right or wrong, or whether feelings are good or bad. Don't lecture on the value of life.
• Get involved. Become available. Show interest and support.
• Don't dare him or her to do it.
• Don't act shocked. This will put distance between you.
• Don't be sworn to secrecy. Seek support.
• Offer hope that alternatives are available but do not offer glib reassurance.
• Ask if you may contact a family member
• Take action. Remove means, such as guns or stockpiled pills.
• Don’t leave them alone, get help from persons specializing in crisis intervention and su***de prevention.
• If necessary get in touch with the police

Be Aware of Feelings

Many people at some time in their lives think about su***de. Most decide to live because they eventually come to realize that the crisis is
temporary and death is permanent. On the other hand, people having a crisis sometimes perceive their dilemma as inescapable and feel an utter loss of control.

These are some of the feelings and thoughts they experience:

• Can't stop the pain
• Can't think clearly
• Can't make decisions
• Can't see any way out
• Can't sleep, eat or work
• Can't get out of depression
• Can't make the sadness go away
• Can't see a future without pain
• Can't see themselves as worthwhile
• Can't get someone's attention
• Can't seem to get control
• Feel hopeless and helplessIf you experience these feelings, get help!

If someone you know exhibits these symptoms, offer help!
