Hlengiwe Faku is a Business Psychologist (MSc) and Health, Wellbeing & Leadership Coach, and the Founder of Lathitha Rising, where mindset, wellbeing & leadership rise together. Her entrepreneurial journey is rooted in a deep commitment to helping people lead and live with clarity, resilience, and
purpose.

With a background in leadership development, wellbeing strategy, and human behaviour, Hlengiwe works with individuals, leaders, and organisations navigating burnout, misalignment, chronic stress, low engagement, and leadership fatigue. Each week, we spotlight remarkable individuals within the Professional Collective and take the opportunity to warmly introduce new members to our growing, diverse community.

Today, we are proud to introduce Gina Schoeman, a brand-new member who is a great asset and makes our Collective stronger.

Gina is Managing Director at Citi, where she heads CEEMEA Economics and South Africa Research. 25 years in financial markets have taken her from a graduate programme to Macquarie, Barclays-Absa Capital and Citi, and to a seat on President Ramaphosa's Economic Advisory Council. She is consistently top-ranked in major analyst surveys from the Financial Mail, Institutional Investor, Reuters, Focus Economics, and BMR.

But what she really does is translate. She turns macro into plain language: what the numbers mean for a business, a career, a household. Through her brand platform, she takes that thinking to boardrooms, lecture halls, and anyone building something.

Her outlook is grounded optimism: clear about risks, but unwilling to mistake caution for insight. I speak about economics as a decision lens for careers and the paths that shape them.

Part of being a member of a networking collective is the support you receive during online sessions, as well as at in-person events that bring you together. The monthly Power Hour is one event that is currently open to non-members, and if you missed August's Power Hour with Leon Lategan on becoming the go-to business in your market, you missed an hour where participants left with new ideas to take into their business.
