A 3 day interactive workshop was held focused on shaping the future planning and development of the Rosslyn Industrial Area (RIA) using Eco-Industrial Area/Park (EIP) principles. The Workshop outcomes is to develop an Action Plan to assist in the sustainable and integrated design and operation of the Rosslyn Industrial Area from economic, environmental, and social perspectives. i.e.: build a resilient Rosslyn Industrial Area with support from key local, national and international partners.

The session included active participation inclusive of the CCBC/RID, CSIR/NCPC, UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization), Gauteng Province, COT, AIDC, GIZ Internationale and Rosslyn Business represented by BMW, SAB, MA Automotive, Rosslyn Hub, UD Trucks and MSC Logistics.

From pothole repairs to freshly painted bollards, the RID worked to keep disruptions to business operations at a minimum. The team also coordinated pothole repairs on Pepler Street, at the corner of De Waal and Pepler Street. A big thank you to the CoT Roads Department for their support.
