ROYAL BAFOKENG RASIMONE PLATINUM MINE; Our mine situated in the North West Province about 60 kilometres from Rustenburg and 40 Kilometres from Phokeng, is a World-class producer of Platinum Ore
The successful applicant will report to Section Engineer or nominee
Minimum Educational Requirements
Grade 12/Standard 10 Certificate With Mathematics and Science or relevant commerce subject.
Relevant Trade Test With N2.
Code 10/14 driver's licence. With PDP
Advantageous: National Diploma in Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain
Management
Experience (including but not limited to):
5 years' extensive practical experience on technical (repairs) procurement
Advantageous:1-3 years' extensive experience as a TMM Foreman.
DUTIES (including but not limited to):
Ensure Legal Compliance With the Social and Labour Plan the Mining Charter,
Whilst establishing and maintaining good stakeholder relations Assist beneficiaries in project proposals for SED management evaluation and provide feedback on rejected or approved proposals.
Ensure project structures are implemented and beneficiaries receive relevant training where
Required. Ensure projects are implemented on time and on budget and report progress to the supervisor/manager.Monitor progress of all projects and assist in any day-to-day problem, which may arise.
Ensure that all social and Labour Plan Commitments
are completed and reported on within the specified timeframes and according to plan. Monitor
Cost Control on all project budget and submit proposals for additional funding from Mine Management.
Ensure effective incorporation, implementation and
Management of the Operational standards,Operatinal objectives and Risk profiles
In line with approved strategy while pro-actively anticipating legislation and other charges that may impact on the business unit. Compile various reports and Communicate To all relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally
Compile project progress reports and submit to line manager.
