Die ongelukkige waarheid van die besit en bestuur van 'n besigheid.😓
Om 'n besigheid te bestuur is regtig moeilik.😥
Wat hulle nie vir jou sê nie, is dat dit erge stres en angs kan veroorsaak, en jou geestelik dreineer tot die punt van depressie in selfs die mees ontspanne mense.
Mense sal oor jou praat, jou met ander vergelyk, jou gebruik, hulle sal jou as 'n diens beskou en nie meer 'n persoon nie.
Baie mense sal afslag verwag en mense sal jou en jou harde werk minder waardeer as 'n groot kettingwinkel of maatskappy.
Jy moet bekommerd wees oor as jy vergeet om iemand te e-pos/boodskappe terug te stuur, gaan hulle d**k dit was doelbewus? Het jy hulle teleurgestel? Sal hulle dit teen jou hou? Wanneer jy in werklikheid net nie by almal se boodskappe en e-posse kan uitkom nie.
Om 'n suksesvolle besigheid te begin en te bestuur plaas ongelooflike druk op persoonlike lewens en verhoudings, waarvan baie misluk omdat daar net dikwels geen balans tussen werk en lewe is nie.
Jy moet die direkteur, die werker, die admin, die bemarkingspan, die rekenmeester, die skoonmaker wees..... Dit alles terwyl jy 'n ouer, 'n man of 'n vrou, familieondersteuning, vriend...
Daar is 'n rede waarom jy nie sien dat baie mense ná 5-10 jaar sukses behaal in klein besighede nie. As hulle suksesvol is, is hulle oorweldig.
Dit eis 'n tol. Dit is vrek uitputtend. Veral die afgelope paar jaar toe so baie buite ons beheer was.
Hier is 'n klein herinnering dat ons net normale mense is met 'n gejaagde lewens.
Wees vriendelik, wees geduldig, ondersteun klein besighede …….en hopelik sal meer van ons bybly!

Owning and Running a business isn't as easy as most people believe.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause unnecessary stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of despondency in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than the bigger chain stores.

You have to fret about whether you or your team has emailed/messaged clients back, "Are they going to think it was on purpose?" "Did we disappoint them?" "Will they hold that against us?" When in reality you just can’t respond to each and everyone’s messages and emails, in the time they expect a response

Running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, customer care, admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend... it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5 years. It can be exhausting. Especially during the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we too are just normal people with busy lives (yes we have lives too lol)
