Basic Computer Skills Training- Impala

This week, our Computer Skills Facilitator, Morgan Mocheko, successfully conducted the Basic Computer Skills Training for 50 participants.

The main purpose of this training is to ensure that participants gain the foundational computer knowledge needed to improve their daily productivity, confidently use digital tools, and enhance their employability.

During the sessions, our facilitator covered key topics such as: Introduction to computers, Basic computer operations, Microsoft essentials, Typing, formatting, and document creation, File saving and document management

Honouring Excellence at the Standard Bank Cohort 3 Township Business Development Programme Certification Ceremony!

On 20 November 2025, Standard Bank South Africa, in partnership with the Gauteng Provincial Treasury and Classic Oriental Consultancy, proudly celebrated the success of Cohort 3 at the Township Business Development Programme Certification Ceremony, held at the elegant ANEW Hotel Parktonian Johannesburg.

This inspiring ceremony marked a major milestone for 100 dedicated entrepreneurs from across Gauteng’s five regions, who completed an impactful six-weeks business development journey designed to strengthen and elevate township-based businesses. Classic Oriental Consultancy Chief Executive Officer Lebo Rapoo commended the entrepreneurs for their perseverance, discipline, and commitment to improving both their business operations and personal development.

Throughout the programme, participants gained valuable insights through specialised workshops covering key business fundamentals, including:

• Sales, Marketing & Customer Attraction
• Legal & Statutory Compliance
• Financial Management Essentials
• Cultural and Emotional Intelligence

Week 4 of the Standard Bank Township Business Development Programme!

This week, our expert facilitator Happy Mpete kicked off the Financial Management workshop in Pretoria, with more sessions in Kempton Park, Soweto, Kagiso, and Vaal.

Happy spoke passionately about creating businesses with a legacy mindset—building enterprises capable of creating generational wealth. He introduced Essential Principles of Financial Management, including budgeting, record-keeping, and managing cash flow effectively.

He emphasized the importance of not mixing personal and business finances and maintaining financial discipline to ensure business sustainability.

With interactive Q&A sessions, participants left inspired and more equipped to take charge of every aspect of their business finances.
