I rarely get a lot of time to post but when I saw this I just thought to myself:

Safety Culture starts at the very top of the management chain! Thus the first thing that they teach management about Safety Culture is that:

"𝕃𝕖𝕒𝕕 𝕓𝕪 𝕖𝕩𝕒𝕞𝕡𝕝𝕖" and I think it is pretty straight forward as to what it means.

Let us all, management or not, lead by example.

TOP 10 HAND PROTECTION TIPS:

1. Identify ALL the hazards to hands in your workplace, and learn or develop the best ways to avoid injury.
2. Use tools to keep your hand out of line of fire.
3. Never put your hand or finger where you can't see it.
4. Inspect equipment and machinery before and after task to ensure its good operating condition.
5. Always use the correct gloves for the task.
6. Disconnect power and follow Lock Out procedure before repairing, cleaning, or maintaining machinery.
7. Use a brush, not your hand, to wipe away debris.
8. Never wear gloves, jewellery or loose clothing around moving machine parts.
9. Clean ALL wounds promptly and properly.
10. Watch out for unguarded pinch points.

Nearly ALL Finger/Hand/Wrist Injuries are Avoidable IF You Use Proper Equipment and Proper Procedures.
