RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION OF SHOWROOM DESIGN & SALES CONSULTANT
Join Pudlo SA as a Design and Sales Consultant and become a part of our dedicated team while playing a crucial role in growing the organisation to new heights in a dynamic and exciting role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive and meet sales targets, ensuring the availability of top-selling products and managing slow-moving stock.
• Monthly marketing of products to existing customers and actively introducing new products to existing customers
• Manage stock effectively, including tagging, labeling, pricing, and conducting regular stock counts.
• Provide excellent customer service, handle complaints, and address client queries professionally.
• Oversee cash handling, financial transactions, and ensure accurate invoice and payment procedures.
• Supervise and support team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and other documents while maintaining accuracy
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Utilize software such as Pastel, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel for daily operations.
• Building relationships and assisting with special projects
• Keep sale team abreast of trends
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Experience in sales with a proven track record and contactable references
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and maintain product knowledge to drive sales.
• Ensure store brand and merchandising standards are upheld.
• Maintain client profiles, foster relationships, and handle inquiries promptly.
• Prevent stock loss and manage consignment deliveries accurately.
• Resolve account queries before processing sales and ensure accurate invoices.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
• Adapt to business needs and contribute to a solution-oriented approach.
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in retail, preferably in luxury interior décor or the building industry.
• Proficiency in Pastel and other relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage cash and finances honestly.
• High level of adaptability and resilience with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Strong team player, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all levels.
• Ability to problem-solve and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
