Whether we're little ones, teens, young adults or grown adults… we're never too young or too old to hear these 5 important things I'm about to share with you.

There is nothing in life more valuable than the relationships we have with our loved ones.

These relationships bring purpose into our lives, and joy.
Tell your children this!

I love you – every moment, including all the times I don't say it or act that way

People of all ages need to receive love and affirmation.

It's not enough to be loving. This world can be a challenging place, and each soul needs to HEAR the words, I love you.

I'm sorry – for anything that I've said or done, or not said or done that might have let you down

No one is perfect, and the ability to say “I'm sorry” goes a long way.

When adults say sorry, it teaches children valuable lessons in humility, making amends, and forgiveness, and it also builds an deeper level of trust.

It's a huge confidence booster, a wave of love washes over you.

Too many of us grow up thinking we need to achieve certain standards in order to be loved.

These 5 things give us the mindset and emotional foundation necessary to thrive in life… so we can go out into life to
creatively and intuitively follow our heart's desire
to whatever we freely choose to
be, do and experience in this world.

“At a certain point in life, we all start to think about our life ending. Some of us think about the ones we leave behind. Others think about money, home, or our legacies. We all want to die knowing those we left behind will be okay.”

I bet you have NEVER thought like this?

Since we never know when our number will be up, it best we plan ahead.

Here are some things I would want my bestie to do if I kick the bucket first.

• If I died suddenly, assemble my team. Call one of them. Let them help you make calls, make arrangements, go through my things. You want someone with you right now. You won't remember everything that needs to be done.
• Make funeral arrangements. Read my lips. Do NOT spend a lot of money. Cremate me and put me in a simple container. I will not be offended
• Say goodbye for me. You know some of my online and offline friends. Let them know I'm gone so they can get the word out to those you don't know. I don't want anyone to think I'm being rude because I haven't answered their email.
• On my computer, under the folder, Aw Paws click over to Contracts to see if I owe anyone a Pet Sitting date. Let them know I won't have a car where I'm going. :)
• Check my password book if you need to get into any of my accounts. Close Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest within a month of my passing.
• Check my pockets before donating my clothes. Speaking of donating...........donate my Bra’s to Pink Drive.
• Email: Leave it up for a while if you want, but unsubscribe from any emails that are not personal correspondence. If I do get emails from friends, let them know I'm busy haunting people. If they want to get on the haunt call list, tell them to say my name three times out loud and I'll stop by at my earliest convenience.
• My appointed funeral director will give you ten copies of my death certificate. You'll need them to close or change accounts with financial institutions and for survivor benefits.
• Get me off the voter registration rolls.
• Cancel my medical aid. It's too late for me now. :)
• Make a will. If you haven't already done this, make out your OWN will, or revise it. That’s a special request from me
• House: I don’t think I own anything
• Socialize. I know you. I want you to talk to people and tell them about what made my heart happy. Make more friends.
• My gorgeous Boys Max and Leo: I don't have to worry about them. I know you'll find a good home for them. Make sure it’s not in a flat. They will terrorise the neighbours - then I'm coming back to yell at you.
• My ashes. You know what to do. Spread them in the Drakensburg at my favourite spot

One thing we can all guarantee is death.

We know we will all die one day, but it is one of those things we don’t like to think about.

In trying not to think about it, we don’t even talk about it with our loved ones.

Would they even know what to do?

I decided to get more organised just in case something happens.

In the event of my death, my friends would be lost in figuring out how to tie up loose ends while also dealing with grief. I don’t want them to go through that.
