A position for a BEE Verification Analyst has arisen .....
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The person must be able to work out a file , from initiation to coming up with a score card.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• NQF 5 Relevant Qualification or
• Tertiary Qualification: Degree in law or finance
EXPERIENCE:
• At least 2 Years experience in a similar position, with a SANAS accredited verification agency.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
• Reviewing of files according to the Quality Management System
• Knowledge of technical aspects and new legislation
• Conducting occasional marketing meetings and/or verification audit for clients
• Management of compliance requirements
• Weekly reporting to Management
• Upholding the requirements for SANAS accreditation and the Quality Management System (clearing of Non-Conformances)
• Manage full B-BBEE verification Function of the Company
• Having an in-depth knowledge of the BBBEE codes of Good practice, the BBBEE Act and other related legislation and are able to perform the manual BEE calculations
• Engage with clients on the process to be followed when conducting evaluations:
-Plan Verifications
-Draft Verification Plan
-Conduct Preparation Meeting with Measured Entity
-Conduct On-Site Verification Meeting
-Complete scorecard and calculations
-Draft reports
• Examine and evaluate measured enterprises to determine their B-BBEE status, review company policies and compliance with B-BBEE Acts and /or charters in South Africa
• Request information from measured enterprises to obtain all required information for accreditation
• Gather and study legal documents and verify submitted information with independent third parties
• Schedule and conduct site evaluations with shareholder and/or directors and the relevant staff of the measured enterprises
• Conclude on the B-BBEE status of the measured enterprise
• And any other administrative tasks relating to the above
