Our people are no strangers to adversity, and although our bodies are separated, distanced and isolated this Easter, our South African hearts beat as one.

In the words of our President:
“The message of Easter is one we carry in our hearts tonight. It is the message of hope, of recovery and of rebirth. We shall recover, we shall overcome. May God bless South Africa, and protect her people.”
President Cyril Ramaposa

From our business family to yours, we wish you much blessing, recuperation, and courage to overcome. Our people will repair and rebuild, like so many South Africans who came before us.

Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika.
Seën ons Here God Seën Afrika.
God Bless Africa.

Foreign nationals with work visas that are due to expire, such as Intra Company Transfer Work Visas or Short-Term Visas, are usually required to travel back to their home country to apply for new visas to extend their stay. However, COVID-19 restrictions has brought about countless travel restrictions and bans for high-risk countries which are now being imposed by the South Africa government.

If you are unable to travel home to renew your visa, do not panic, we have a dedicated team to provide support, for both Companies and Professionals. A Directive has been issued to Chinese nationals allowing short term extension of their status in South Africa, and it is anticipated that the Department of Home Affairs will follow suit with a Directive to include all affected countries to allow renewal in SA. In the interim special waiver request can be made and we have also found the Department to be extremely approachable over this period to assist.

Understanding how you are affected can be daunting amidst the plethora of information available.

If you have specific questions regarding this or require any clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us directly on [email protected] or [email protected].
