MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
 You must possess a grade 12 National Certificate or equivalent.
 Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 Good communication and teamwork skills
 1-2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry will be advantageous. Candidates with
experience in chemical manufacturing are preferred.
 Must be capable of performing all the essential job functions.

 Flexible to work overtime and Night shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Operate production equipment
 Maintain the warehouse’s machines
 Assemble machinery parts
 Store products and materials
 Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
 Report on defective products or machinery
 Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
 Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products
 Review and follow manufacturing manuals to produce products
 Ensure shipping procedures are timely
 Transfer equipment manually or with forklift trucks
 Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines

A client based on the East Rand in Gauteng is seeking a skilled and experienced Contract-Based Welder to join our team on a project-by-project basis. As a Contract-Based Welder, you will be responsible for providing welding services and support for specific projects, including fabrication, repair, and maintenance of metal structures and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, be able to work independently, and possess excellent attention to detail. • Matric
• Certification in welding from a recognized institution or equivalent work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform various welding tasks, including but not limited to MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to fabricate, repair, and maintain metal structures and equipment.
• Select and set up welding equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition and appropriate for the job.
• Clean, prepare, and properly position metal components for welding, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Weld components together, using the appropriate welding techniques, while maintaining quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications, making any necessary repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on welding equipment to ensure its proper functioning and longevity.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.

Currently looking for a chemistry or chemical engineering graduate to conduct laboratory experiments, develop techniques, and efficiently generate quality, analytical results in a safe manner within time and cost objectives. This is a full time position. The role requires/involves the following:
