Let's talk about THE COST OF GETTING IT WRONG IN DEMOLITION

The cheapest demolition quote can become the most expensive project. In demolition, the number at the bottom of a quotation rarely tells the full story. Two contractors can quote for the same structure, yet deliver vastly different scopes, levels of risk management and project outcomes.

Don’t compare quotes. Compare what’s included.

Before choosing a demolition contractor, ask:

🔴Is the scope properly defined?
Does the quotation clearly identify what is being demolished, dismantled, retained and removed?

🔴Has the site been properly assessed?
A professional demolition plan considers structural conditions, surrounding assets, access, services, hazardous materials and potential risks before work begins.

🔴Are hazardous materials accounted for?
Asbestos and other hazardous materials cannot simply be treated as ordinary demolition waste. Identification, controlled removal and compliant disposal must form part of the planning where applicable.

Before we begin, EM WORX assesses the site to identify risks, opportunities and the safest, most efficient way to execute the work.

Here are 5 key things we look at:

1. DEMOLITION METHODOLOGY
Every site is different. We determine the appropriate demolition or dismantling methodology, equipment, sequencing and access requirements for the project.

2. STRUCTURAL CONDITIONS
