🎓 INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF SKILLED PROFESSIONALS! 🛠️🌟

One of the highlights of our visit to Vaalrivier School of Skills in Standerton was spending time with the learners and seeing their enthusiasm for practical learning and technical careers.

On Friday, 21 August 2026, the FDT Training Centre team had the opportunity to engage directly with young people who are developing skills that can become the foundation of successful careers.

👷🏾‍♀️👷🏾‍♂️ These are our future artisans, technicians, entrepreneurs and industry professionals.

Career Day was about more than talking about jobs. It was about helping learners understand that the skills they are developing today can create opportunities tomorrow.

We encouraged learners to:

🎓 Continue learning and developing their abilities
💼 Explore occupational and vocational career opportunities
🚀 Think about entrepreneurship and self-employment

What an inspiring day of skills, learning and career possibilities! 🙌

On Friday, 21 August 2026, the FDT Training Centre team had the privilege of visiting Vaalrivier School of Skills in Standerton for its Career Day.

Our visit gave us an opportunity to engage with learners, explore the school’s practical training environment and have meaningful conversations about the many career opportunities available through technical, vocational and occupational skills development.

🛠️ From the workshop to the workplace, practical skills can become powerful pathways to employment, entrepreneurship and lifelong careers.

During the Career Day, we focused on helping learners:
