π INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF SKILLED PROFESSIONALS! π οΈπ
One of the highlights of our visit to Vaalrivier School of Skills in Standerton was spending time with the learners and seeing their enthusiasm for practical learning and technical careers.
On Friday, 21 August 2026, the FDT Training Centre team had the opportunity to engage directly with young people who are developing skills that can become the foundation of successful careers.
π·πΎββοΈπ·πΎββοΈ These are our future artisans, technicians, entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
Career Day was about more than talking about jobs. It was about helping learners understand that the skills they are developing today can create opportunities tomorrow.
We encouraged learners to:
π§ Take pride in practical and technical skills
π Continue learning and developing their abilities
πΌ Explore occupational and vocational career opportunities
π Think about entrepreneurship and self-employment
π― Believe in the value of becoming skilled and work-ready
Seeing learners in their workshop environment reminded us why skills development matters. Every learner deserves the opportunity to discover their potential and understand where their talents can take them.
A big thank you to the learners and staff of Vaalrivier School of Skills for the warm welcome and enthusiastic engagement. π
FDT Training Centre is proud to play a role in connecting education, skills and industry β and helping young people prepare for meaningful futures.
Your Future. Our Mission.
