Hi All. Thank you very much for your loyal support of the Sedgefield Business Boerie Bash, over its running of the last four years. The Boerewors Bash has not been running for a couple of years, when RE/MAX Lakes and CJ Ballan Attorneys decided to set the ship sailing again as a community support project, to promote interaction between locals, local business people, and to support local venues and charities. Great fun was had by all involved, including Steering Committee staff. Our photo albums bare testimony to that. :-)
Thank you to Holly Godfrey, and staff from CJ Ballan Attorneys, including Marli Schröder and Julie Middleton, now Anjul Trading, Hanneke O’Sullivan, Sally Vosloo and staff from RE/MAX Lakes , Sandra Middleton from RE/MAX Coastal, and later Riana Hanekom from Girl.Friday.Go, for all their hard work, professional level dedication and monthly input towards this cause. Thank you to Eugene who helped us with music, all the venues and charities involved for their participation and local businesses for sponsorships and contributions, and everyone else involved and whom attended and supported. We love you all for supporting us.
As we are all in professional occupations, we have had to make a tough decision to refocus on our professional commitments. Even though a great load of fun and cause driven, the Boerie Bash took large chunks out of our schedules every month. At the beginning of 2013, when we were contemplating handing over the 2013 boerie bashes inhouse, the computer which held our Boerie Bash data base with your contact information crashed and our monthly e-mail contacts were lost. We had not yet worked out a course of action yet, when our minds seem to have been made up for us by a participating venue.
Thank you all for having been with us, through this amazing adventure, of themed parties and charity fundraiser boerie bashes which explored our colourful local venues and allowed locals to mingle cheerfully.
