Earth Day was one for the books! 🌍 🌱

Yesterday it started with community cleanups at Smartie Town and Kingdom kids. Where 600 children received a hotdog for their efforts. 🌭

200 children also received their own little plant to take home and look after. 🌱

We also went and planted seedlings at Bizweni Garden and Smartie Town Community Garden. Something small today that can grow into something sustainable in the future.

And we ended the day off strong with a beach cleanup with the SURF4LIFE crew.🏄‍♂️

Thank you to everyone who took part and supported us yesterday. It was truly a good day to put a little good back into our Earth.

Some kids just need somewhere to go after school.

As we look back on 2025, our hearts are full 💙 This video captures just a glimpse of what becomes possible when people choose to give their time, energy and care in service of others.

To the incredible volunteers from our partners Khethani, Surf4Life, Distance For Difference, Lwandle Running Club, Komani, Check Know Prevent and Friends With Compassion NPO - thank you for showing up, time and again, with generosity and selflessness.

To the volunteers at the schools we support - SmartHub, Kingdom Kids, Bizweni, Hope & Light, Tom’s Little Angels and 4theOne - your commitment to our children and communities is deeply appreciated.

To our feeding partners Cash & Carry, 3 Peas and Bread of Heaven - thank you for helping us meet a very real need with dignity and care.

And to everyone else who volunteered their time, skills and services throughout the year - whether behind the scenes or on the ground - this work would not be possible without you!

This year we delivered 1,070 Santa Boxes/party packs and lunch for the 4theOne Christmas party across Sir Lowry Pass, Macassar and Nomzamo, reaching the schools and soup kitchens in our area.

Feeling grateful for every smile and every hug, and the chance to give back.

Wrapping up the year in true VirtualResource style - Glamour, Glitz & Groove across two continents.

Over the last two weekends we celebrated our year-end in Cape Town with our South African team and in London with our global colleagues. VirtualResource covered flights, hotels and two unforgettable events, plus after-parties for the brave amongst us who kept the groove going into the early hours.

After spending the year working together virtually, finally connecting face to face made all the difference. It brought us closer as a team, strengthened our culture and reminded us how fortunate we are to work for a company that truly looks after its people.

For those who couldn’t join in person, we didn’t forget you - festive hampers were sent out so everyone could share in the celebration.

On behalf of VirtualResource, a heartfelt thank you to our whole team across the world for helping us reach new heights this year and for all the success stories we can celebrate together. And a big thank you to our leadership Helen, Cristene and Ryan for making experiences like this possible.
