You may have heard about the shared Leadership in the herd of horses. A Lead Mare [lead female horse] takes the position to lead the herd by setting the direction and pace, while the Lead Stallion keeps the herd together and protect from the predators.

💡 A ᴛʀᴜᴇ Lᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ should demonstrate these qualities from both Lead Mare and Lead Stallion.

While the Vision, Direction and Pace [lead Mare's role] with which the team needs to be lead towards success, keeping the team together, intact and protecting them [lead Stallion's role] from any vulnerabilities is equally important. To build trust and confidence in herd leadership of Leadership's Four Leadership Characteristics.

When the Leaders demonstrate 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙀𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, as their characteristics and skills, the team builds confidence, which makes the team robust, strong and adaptable to any changes.

Before he died, a father said to his son; Here is a watch that your grandfather gave me. It is almost 200 years old. Before I give it to you, go to the jewelry store downtown. The father asked his son to go to the museum and show them the watch. He went to the museum, came back, and said to his father; The curator offered $500,000.00 for this very rare piece to be included in their precious antique collections.
