We are in Franschhoek at one of our regulars for two weeks. Two weeks of wandering about the vineyards with 2 Great Danes and 2 rescue dogs. Great stuff!

At Rose Cottages for three weeks. The main house is undergoing a face lift. Plenty of noise and bustle.
Very nice rain this afternoon, and there is talk of snow too!

Bookings a bit slow at the moment. Guest House owners say they cannot afford to go on holiday. Our next reasonable booking is two weeks in December. Any work will be appreciated.

Jobs a bit slow at the moment. Franschhoek near the end of September. A very exciting request from The Breede Rivirine, where we used to work, way back in 2001. Maybe 3 weeks in October. Will be great to see the piece of Paradise again.
