Keep your chooks healthy, the natural way. Biochar manages odour, moisture and digestion, among other things.
Less need for bedding rotation, and overall happier animals.
Don’t delay, save on health expenses and give your animals the care they deserve. Biochar as a bedding and feed supplement. Get ahead of the flock…

Biochar Workshop - 17 June 2026,
Le Provance Farm, Oyster Bay Road,
St Francis Bay.
Learn how to deal with your Invasive Woody Brush (Waste wood / sticks), that create a fire threat, blocks access to follow up and damages soils when burnt uncontrollably.
Produce biochar at any scale, from household garden, production farming or agricultural applications.
This workshop teaches the artisanal production method, endorsed by 'Carbon Standards International', and qualifies for international carbon credits.
Production is emissions sensitive and quality assured, safe as animal feed, bedding and soil applications, as well as filtration and absorbsion of leachate or spills.
Come and blow your mind, on knowledge and skills, related to this ancient soil wisdom.
RSVP WhatsApp Harry on 0826240124 to secure your space on this knowledge share.
Turning an environmental threat into an agricultural solution.
Food, water ans soil security and the pathway to it.
See you there...

Invasive Alien Plants like; Black Wattle, outgrow indigenous vegetation, has no natural enemies, and over-runs natural landscapes, replacing it with a single species stand of landscape Transformers that alter soils, robs water and creates dense impregnable fire threats that limit access and destroy habitats.

Getting government on board. The leaders on agricultural biochar application. This is an investment in long term soil health. Following with great interest .

We are about to experience an Alien invasion of epic proportions. The perfect storm for invasive plants is fire followed by rain. They will overrun the landscape faster than you can clear them.

Invasive Alien Plants regrowth after fire… it’s an opportunity.

“Did you know that after heavy rains, wattle seeds remain dormant in the soil but suddenly begin germinating en masse? Many people don’t realize how quickly these trees spread, outcompeting our native plants and altering water flow. This silent takeover is a critical threat to our catchment’s health. Let’s get ahead of it—stay informed and join us in the fight to protect our local ecosystem!”

World Environment Day 2026

Today we celebrate World Environment Day and the opportunity we all have to become better stewards of the land, water, and ecosystems that sustain us.

At AgriGain, we believe that healthy soils are the foundation of a healthy environment. One of the most exciting tools available to farmers and land managers is biochar – a stable form of carbon produced from biomass that can remain in soils for hundreds of years.

Biochar helps to:

✅ Improve soil water retention during droughts
✅ Reduce nutrient leaching into rivers and dams
✅ Increase soil carbon and support climate resilience
✅ Provide habitat for beneficial soil microorganisms
✅ Improve soil structure and long-term fertility
✅ Help capture and store carbon that would otherwise return to the atmosphere

In a world facing increasing pressure from climate change, flooding, drought, and soil degradation, biochar offers a practical solution that benefits both agriculture and the environment.

This World Environment Day, let’s invest in soils that are more productive, resilient, and capable of supporting future generations.

🌱 Healthy soils. Healthy farms. Healthy ecosystems.

On the surface everyone is happy with all the rains, behind the scenes, we’re facing a massive challenge. Nutrient loss and soil degradation through Invasive Plant impacts and low carbon soils with very high leaching dynamics.

04/06/2026

When our valuable nutrients wash out of our soils, biochar can catch it and you can prevent downstream pollution and loss and plug it right back into your lands. Don’t loose your valuable nutrients. Catch them and put them back in the soil for long term slow release.
