S.F.G (Standerton Factories Group) filling up the potholes in the industrial area Standerton

From March 10 to March 13, 2025, the Standerton Factories Group (S.F.G) initiated a project to fill up the potholes in the industrial area, starting at Produce Street by Standerton Slagpale and ending at Factory Street by Havco. The S.F.G administrators expressed their gratitude to all subscribed members for their support, as the funds contributed were used to pay for temporary workers who filled up the potholes. Special thanks were extended to Standerton Slagpale and Dravin 2 Move for providing the necessary ground and gravel, as well as to Mrs. Scrap Holdings for supplying the machinery and transport needed for the project.

Moving forward, S.F.G is committed to finding ways to further enhance the industrial area. They are currently seeking a company that can provide a longer-lasting fix for the roads, such as patching the potholes with tar. Interested parties are encouraged to contact S.F.G via Facebook messenger.

Additionally, any other companies in the industrial area who wish to join the Standerton Factories Group are invited to reach out to S.F.G on Facebook. Collaboration and cooperation are key principles for S.F.G as they strive to improve the industrial area for all stakeholders.

The Shabangu Brothers Security team, working in conjunction with S.F.G admin Kyle , demonstrated their exceptional skills and teamwork by successfully locating and apprehending a suspect in the industrial area on February 21, 2025. The suspect was caught red-handed in the act of vandalizing Lamond's fence by ripping out support poles at 16 Factory Street.

Upon receiving a report from LA-Mon security about the suspect's activities, the security team swiftly sprang into action and tracked the perpetrator to 8 Factory Street. With their coordinated efforts, the suspect was apprehended with the stolen items still in his possession.

This operation serves as a testament to the effectiveness of the collaboration between Shabangu Brothers Security and S.F.G in safeguarding the industrial area. By working together seamlessly, they were able to prevent further damage and ensure the safety and security of the premises. The quick response and successful outcome of this operation underscore the dedication and professionalism of the security team in protecting their clients' assets.

Business owners in the Standerton industrial area are facing significant challenges due to the poor conditions of the roads and streets in the area. The situation is further exacerbated by the influx of trucks that have taken over the industrial area. When asked to move, some truck drivers have become aggressive, causing further frustration for business owners.

The presence of these trucks is not only causing congestion and blocking access to businesses, but they are also driving on sidewalks, making it difficult for both business owners and customers to navigate the area. This has created a hazardous environment and is hindering the smooth operation of businesses in the industrial area.

It is imperative that action is taken to address these issues and improve the infrastructure in the Standerton industrial area to ensure the safety and efficiency of businesses in the area. Business owners are calling for support and solutions to alleviate these challenges and create a more conducive environment for commerce.

It was a good day filled with good news on February 3, 2025, as a joint operation successfully cleaned up the dumping area between 21A and 25 Factory Street Standerton . S.F.G took the initiative to put up a sign prohibiting littering and open fires in the area.

A big thank you goes out to everyone involved in this clean-up project, from MRS SCRAP HOLDING for providing machinery, transport, and materials, to Drivin to Move for allowing the project on their property and assisting with the clean-up efforts. Lamon Trailers created the structure of the sign, while Clasics & Signs made and installed the sign. Kemarkians Products & Clothing generously donated materials for the sign.

The sign serves as a reminder to all that illegal dumping will no longer be tolerated in our community. This collaborative effort showcases the power of coming together to make a positive impact on our environment.
