For just R120 per person, you'll receive:
- Unlimited lavender picking
- A complimentary glass of any De Meye wine

Bring your own shears and basket and spend the day gathering lavender at your leisure before relaxing with a glass of wine in our tasting room.

🍽 Delicious platters from The Table Restaurant will be available to order, making it the perfect outing for friends, couples, and families.

🚗 Parking is conveniently located right next to the lavender fields.

🔥 And if the weather turns chilly, our fireplace will be crackling in the tasting room, creating the perfect cosy atmosphere to enjoy your wine.

Harvest 2026 at De Meye 🍇

With the final grapes now safely in the cellar, we mark the end of another harvest at De Meye. Weeks of early mornings, careful hand-picking, and dedicated work in the vineyards have brought in fruit that truly reflects this season.

Harvest is always a special time on the farm, the culmination of a year’s work in the vines and the beginning of a new journey in the cellar. Now, as the wines slowly begin to develop, we look forward to discovering the character and story of the 2026 vintage.

Made from a single vineyard of old vines planted in 1978, this vintage is bright and refreshing with beautiful citrus notes and a crisp, fresh finish - the perfect wine to enjoy during this heat wave.

De Meye Wedding Venue is hosting an Open Day this Saturday, 24 January 2026, from 9:00am to 11:00am, and we would love for you to join us.

A selection of our trusted suppliers will be on site showcasing their products. We will also be hosting venue viewings at 9:00am and 10:00am, with meetings taking place at the Venue Coffee Station.
