Pierre Rommelaere is a self-taught freelance photographer that is based in Cape Town, South Africa. While holding a BA degree in Language and Cultures at Stellenbosch University where he majored in Afrikaans and Theatre Studies, his passion to be behind the camera has taken preference. Most notable for his documentation of the music scenes in both Stellenbosch and Cape Town, Pierre has moved onto

various fields of photography, including landscape, festival, events, branding, street/candid and head shots for up and coming actors. As of 2015, Pierre has photographed for Autoweek USA "Under 30 Issue," Rocking The Daisies 2015, The Black Lips (USA) and even exhibited at Erdmann Contemporary in Kloof Street in Cape Town.
