A day in the life….

1. Yesterday Wim and I were invited to Paul Roos for a fundraiser function. I always welcome invitations like these to dress up and go on a semi-‘date night’ as we hardly find time in the chaos to do it properly as per the instructions of every marriage manual. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Plus I get to meet more interesting people.
I always prefer doing my makeup in our youngest’s room as the natural light always falls perfect while Josie observes or (mostly) joins in. Thanks to I didn’t have to worry about hair. No one brings the beach to quite like lovely Luné, thanks to her effortless and natural approach to styling. 🌊

2. This morning I felt the prompting for silence and intimacy. I’m currently overwhelmed with so many things going on.
My head spinning. This was the message I sent my sister of how my morning played out.

3. The Prophetic Message for today (11 Sept) received 10min after He spoke to me. Confirming as He always does.

Going monochrome always tends to be the safest bet and today’s navy-on-navy is a perfect example!

In the world of styling it’s known to be a way more interesting approach to play with different textures when creating outfits.
Here I combined the soft knit with a more coarser denim along with shiny patent leather loafers.

The shiny loafers does not only elevate the look, making it a focal point,
but also refreshes and livens up the outfit, preventing it from appearing too heavy —something that can happen if you opt for matte shoes in this case.
