Beyerskloof Based in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape, Beyerskloof is one of the leading red wine producers in South Africa, specialising in Pinotage and Pinotage blends.

It was 30 years back – a generation ago – that the brand which has become synonymous with Pinotage was ‘born’ when the first vineyard was planted at the small home farm off the Koelenhof road, bought in 1988. Following the 1997 acquisition of 100 hectares in the Bottelary Winelands of Stellenbosch, the landholding increased again in 2018 with the purchase of a 50ha spread of vineyards known as Kriekbult between the winery and the Simonsberg as viewed from the deck of the bistro at Beyerskloof. Marvelling at growth and development during the 30 years since Beyers thrust his hands into the soil and planted the first vines on home soil, it’s exciting to contemplate what the next 30 years might hold as Anri and the Beyerskloof family push the envelope viticulturally and in the cellar. Might there even be one more expression of Pinotage in the making?

A little reminder that Saturday, 10 October is all about celebrating International Pinotage Day and 30 vintages of Beyerskloof Pinotage! 🍇

Join us for Shades of the Vineyard, a day of w**e, music, entertainment, games, lucky draws and garden-chic style.

🎟️ Tickets are R350 per person and spaces are limited.

Please note: Our Tasting Room and The Restaurant at Beyerskloof will be closed on 10 October and access to the estate will be for ticket holders only.

Thirty vintages. One unforgettable day. 🍷

On 17 September, we had the privilege of celebrating a very special milestone at Beyerskloof: our 30th Vintage Celebration, together with the official opening of our newly renovated tasting room and The Restaurant at Beyerskloof.

It was a day that celebrated not only how far we have come, but the people who have been part of the journey along the way.

To our loyal customers, friends, family, industry partners and everyone who has supported Beyerskloof over the years, thank you. Your continued support has allowed us to grow, evolve and keep doing what we love, while remaining rooted in the people, w**e and Stellenbosch soil that have shaped our story.

Here’s to 30 vintages behind us, a beautiful new chapter ahead, and many more glasses shared around the table. 🍷

This International Pinotage Day, we’re celebrating 30 vintages of Beyerskloof Pinotage with a day dedicated to the colours, character and spirit of the vineyard.
