VALUING DIVERSITY WORKSHOPS:
What sets Memorie's workshops apart is that she focuses on valuing diversity and ways in which we can truly move forward and build a better future together, rather than spending the majority of the workshops on re-visiting our hurtful past. She also does not merely create diversity awareness, but focuses on transferring core diversity skills to empower all in attendance to further engage in diversity conversations once they leave the workshops. From asking diversity questions in a respectful manner, to providing feedback if someone offends you, she entrenches dialoguing skills and attendees are empowered to engage confidently with the amazing diversity South Africa holds (2-day workshops allow for all participants to practise and master these new diversity skills, while 1-day only allows for awareness creation).
