Herstel en installasie van gas toerusting. Vir die afgelope 8 jaar bedien ons die Hessequa omgewing en doen slegs wettige werk. Kontak my op WhatsApp (daar is geen normale selfoon ontvangs waar ons woon nie - dus WhatsApp stemboodskap of getikte boodskappe asb). Ek werk streng volgens standaarde en regulasies - moet dus nie kortpaaie verwag nie.

Hi Everyone!

I DO NOT SUPPLY GAS - only safe gas installations. Please take note:

The gas shortage in the Western Cape is becoming more severe with many depots and dealers being out of gas already. Please watch out for gas container theft as this gas crisis deepen. Check on your containers (whether full or empty) regularly, and chain and lock them down, where possible.
Also, watch out for illegal and unsafe refilling of gas containers. These so-called rogue fillers might overfill the container, making it unsafe to use. In the recent past, I have heard rumours of containers being partly filled with water, then only "topped up" with a lesser quantity of gas. Only make use of accredited and approved filling stations / depots - if you can find any with stock!
With some luck this shortage will not last long, but take care.

Never undersize your gas installation! Especially if you live in an area subject to cool winters. The amount of gas has nothing to do with it - the size of the container, however, determines the ability of the liquid gas to vaporise, and it is the vapour that your appliances consume. Too few, or too small gas containers, as well as too thin pipe sizing, cheap & undersized gas regulators is deemed as being undersized. Undersizing will lead to piss-poor performance, and (in certain conditions) will lead to damage of your equipment. Yes, it might seem "cheaper" on the quote to undersize, but penny-wise, pound-foolish comes to mind. Have it done right the first time - use AJW Technical Enterprises for your installation.

"Installations" found during inspections and which were done in a non-compliant manner. If your "installation" resemble any of these photos - contact us now - it is not compliant, potentially unsafe and illegal. The number of pictures falling into this category is growing rapidly - it seems you take your chances with gas, but not with plumbing? Gas is flammable. A gas certificate alone will not prevent an accident, or "cure" a piss-poor, unsafe gas installation. If you are chasing a gas certificate, and don't care about the installation being truly compliant, then you are heading for trouble.

Non-compliant and undersized.
Non-compliant since the gas container is within 5m of an electrical point, almost underneath the window and undersized since it is running off a little 1kg/hr regulator using flexible hose (the latter with a mere 8mm inner diameter).
