Someone pulled up to an AI drive-thru and ordered 18,000 cups of water.
The AI did not say "sir, this is a Taco Bell". It tried to process it, stalled, and a human had to step in. The clip went everywhere, and the company said publicly it was rethinking where AI ordering belongs.
Here is the funny part: the AI understood the sentence perfectly. What it lacked was the common sense any teenager on their first shift has. Nobody had told it that a restaurant has a limited number of cups.
Every agent we build gets that boring layer: sensible limits, a sanity check on anything unusual, and a quick, graceful handover to a person. It is the least exciting part of the build and the reason the rest is safe to switch on.
