The first cuts of the season. ✂️

Today we officially began pruning our Pinotage vineyards, marking the start of a new growing season. Every cut is made with the hope of healthy vines, balanced fruit, and another exceptional vintage.

A glimpse into our cellar.

Our concrete eggs provide a unique environment for fermentation and maturation. Their natural insulation helps maintain stable temperatures, while the egg shape encourages gentle movement within the wine, adding texture and complexity.

The result? Greater texture, complexity and beautifully balanced wines that express both the fruit and the vineyard.

With winter rains continuing to replenish our dams, we’re grateful to see them full. A welcome sight on any farm, and one that will help sustain our vineyards in the months ahead.

Winter has been kind to our vineyards.

With plenty of rain and sunshine, our cover crops are flourishing. They’re hard at work improving soil health, conserving moisture and supporting biodiversity while the vines enjoy their winter dormancy.
