Senior Technician / Team Leader – Solar & Victron Installations
Permanent Position | Tzaneen / Limpopo Region (travel to client sites)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician to lead solar PV and Victron installations, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance. The role requires strong technical expertise and team leadership to deliver safe, high-quality systems for residential, commercial and agricultural clients.

Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise installations of Victron systems, PV arrays, inverters, MPPTs and batteries
• Perform AC/DC wiring, programming and system integration
• Diagnose and resolve faults (hardware, software, communication)
• Commission, test and hand over systems to clients
• Mentor and manage installation teams, ensuring safety and quality
• Complete reports, drawings and job cards accurately

Requirements
• Grade 12; Electrical trade qualification preferred
• 4–5 years solar PV experience, with Victron exposure
• Proven AC/DC wiring and inverter programming skills
• Valid driver’s licence; physically fit and able to work at heights

Advantageous
• Victron / Cerbo / VRM experience
• Wireman’s licence or installation electrician registration
• Team leadership experience

Skills
• Strong technical knowledge of Victron systems
• Problem-solving and analytical ability
• Team leadership and client communication
• High attention to detail and safety awareness
