Ulundi SMME Hub in Collaboration with Ulundi Municipality Launches Support for Tuckshop Owners

As custodians of small business growth in Ulundi, the Ulundi SMME Hub, in collaboration with Ulundi Municipality, is excited to announce a special information session for tuckshop owners on 11 December 2025, from 10:00 to 12:30.

During this session, we will:

Launch the SPAZA FUNDING Help Desk – offering guidance on accessing funding, eligibility, and application support.

Introduce the Tuckshop Development Programme – providing tools, resources, and support to help tuckshops thrive.

Unveil the Ulundi Tuckshop Development Network – connecting tuckshop owners, sharing knowledge, and fostering a community of growth.

Provide insights from the Ulundi Municipality on business permits and compliance, helping owners operate legally and confidently.

This initiative is part of our commitment to empowering local tuckshop owners, ensuring they have the resources, knowledge, and networks to grow their businesses sustainably.

We invite all tuckshop owners in Ulundi to join us on 11 December and take advantage of this opportunity to access funding, learn, and connect with fellow entrepreneurs.

The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) has re-launched the Asset Assist Programme to support South African MSMEs with Machinery, Equipment, Working capital and Raw materials (max 20% of grant allocation)
