SLG is an award winning supplier of industrial and commercial piped gas in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Our customers include major brands such as Engen, Mondi and Toyota, and our pipeline network covers Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Newcastle, Richards Bay, Phoenix, Umbilo and Verulam. Besides marketing gas, we provide technical and safety services to our customers - many of them free of charge - so
as to enable them to optimise their production processes whilst complying with environmental laws. We began trading in the piped gas industry in June 2002 with the goal of raising the profile of clean energy and becoming a recognised provider of this environmentally friendly alternative to coal. Today, we are one of the most successful BBBEE ventures in South Africa's energy sector. We supply over 2000 kilometres of pipeline gas, have recently connected our first Independent Power Producer customer (Newcastle Cogeneration - IPSA) and are expanding our reach further into the province by financing new pipelines. All of our activities and operations are measured in accordance with how they benefit people, in terms of their safety, corporate social responsibility and environment.
