Good Day Team 💙💙

HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE!

As the Chairperson of DASO VUT, we are proud and deeply humbled to announce that for the very first time in the history of VUT, DASO has secured representation in the SRC.

Through hard work since we received our functional rights on 15 May 2026 we have achieved what many thought was impossible in just 4 months.

I am proud to announce that Cde Bathabile Aphane has secured a seat as SRC Ex Officio - Faculty Council becoming our first ever SRC deploy.

This did not come easy. It took sleepless nights, ground campaigns, recruiting, and believing in our vision of _A Better Life For All Students_ when no one else did.

To every student who trusted us with their vote, every activist who stood with me, and every leader who guided this new branch — THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. This victory belongs to all of us.

This is only the beginning. We will serve with excellence.

Chairperson: DASO VUT Branch
The one who worked hard to make this possible
