BIOGRAPHY: Sva The Dominator
Sva The Dominator, born Siviwe Beja, is a dynamic South African artist whose sound blends Kwaito, Amapiano, Gqom, Afro-electronic, and urban influences, creating a bold, energetic, and captivating musical identity.
He was born in KwaMuliso location, a rural area in Mqanduli, Eastern Cape. His passion for music was noticed and recognised at the age of 8, when he began joining his older siblings during church choir practices. From a young age, he stood out as a natural performer, often leading his peers in singing traditional “amagwijo”—a popular vocal style in rural communities. His early talent was further nurtured as a member of the Ngcwala Junior Secondary School Choral Choir.
Sva discovered his love for Kwaito music after hearing *“Phantsi Komthunzi Welanga”* by Brown Dash featuring Mzekezeke. Inspired by these pioneers, he began recording music using a tape recorder, often mimicking their style alongside a friend—impressing his local community with their performances.
In January 2006, following the passing of his father in late 2005, Sva relocated to the Vaal (South Gauteng) to continue his schooling. While in Grade 11, he connected with peers who shared his passion for music. During school breaks, they would freestyle and rap, helping him develop songwriting skills and gain insight into the recording process.
By 2007, he had started writing original music. In 2008, he met DJ KK, who introduced him to studio production. In early 2009, Sva recorded his first official song, “Ma Tyma”, a heartfelt tribute to his late father. The song quickly gained traction at local hangout spots, marking the beginning of his grassroots fan base through live performances.
In 2010, he took full control of his career by founding Life Aimer Productions, later rebranded in 2019 to Life Aimer Empire—a move that marked his transition into entrepreneurship and digital music distribution.
In 2011, he released his debut album “Kuze Kulunge”, spreading a message of perseverance and hope. The project earned him airplay on community radio stations, interviews, and performance opportunities alongside established artists. He was also featured among the Top 5 unsigned Kwaito artists on Kwaito-Playlist Magazine.
His career expanded internationally in 2014 when he secured a role on Pamtengo Radio (UK), where he was actively involved in **“The Burning 40” Saturday afternoon drive show as a producer, music compiler, and presenter.
On 3 April 2015, Sva released the album “Book of Love”, further solidifying his presence in the industry.
On **9 November 2016**, he released his studio album **“Hamba Nam Uzobona”**, which laid the foundation for a continuing series.
He followed up with major singles:
“Made In Vaal” (2017) – released in association with Gallo Records
“Indoda Engenamali” (2017)
“Uyaphapha”** – later remixed by multiple producers
“Uyaphapha” went on to earn:
Runner-up in Best House & Gqom (Makoya Entertainment Awards)
Nominee for Best Hustler (GAMA Awards 2019)
In 2019, under Life Aimer Empire, Sva intensified his focus on digital distribution, achieving:
Multiple songs surpassing 100,000 streams
Five songs exceeding 1 million streams each
In January 2021, Life Aimer Empire onboarded its first artists under its digital distribution model, empowering independent artists to release and monetise their music.
Sva continued to build his catalog with the evolution of his flagship series:

In 2020, he also embraced Amapiano with releases such as: Ndinovalo, Ama Athalala, Hlamba Izandla (COVID-19)
These efforts earned him a Best Upcoming Artist nomination at the Mzansi Arts & Media Awards.
Beyond albums, Sva The Dominator has consistently released collaborative EPs and singles, maintaining a strong presence in the music scene and continuously engaging his growing audience.
Today, Sva stands as both an independent artist and entrepreneur, leading Life Aimer Empire as a platform for music creation, distribution, and artist development. His journey reflects resilience, innovation, and a deep commitment to shaping the future of South African music.
