It was a privilege to contribute to the SPCA Vereeniging & Vanderbijlpark and assist in their ongoing efforts to provide care, protection, and a second chance for animals in need.
We commend the incredible work done by the SPCA team and volunteers who dedicate their time and resources to animal welfare every day.

When we shared the devastating news of the break-in at our SPCA, we were heartbroken. Essential items used to care for our animals had been stolen, including our washing machine and blankets that help keep our furry residents warm during winter.
What happened next reminded us just how incredible our community truly is.
The response has been nothing short of overwhelming.
Supporters arrived with blankets, bedding, and donations. Some generously donated second-hand washing machines, while others contributed financially to help us replace what was lost. We are especially grateful to Danmik Power Generation, who stepped forward and donated a brand-new washing machine to the SPCA.
The support did not stop there. Thanks to the monetary donations received from many kind-hearted supporters, we now have sufficient funds to purchase a second brand-new washing machine, which will greatly assist us with the daily washing of blankets and bedding for the animals in our care.
We have also received an incredible number of blankets, as well as financial donations specifically earmarked for purchasing more. As winter settles in, these blankets will make a world of difference to the animals who rely on us for comfort, warmth, and care.
Our gratitude also extends beyond our own community. Even our sister society, the Kempton Park SPCA, stepped forward to assist by donating food and blankets for the animals in our care. Their generosity and support during this difficult time are deeply appreciated and serve as a wonderful reminder of the strength of the SPCA family.
In addition to replacing what was stolen, we were also able to improve the security of our premises. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, our alarm system has received an upgrade, helping us better protect the animals and facilities entrusted to our care.
To every person who donated, shared our posts, sent messages of encouragement, dropped off supplies, or opened their heart and wallet to help us - thank you.
You turned a heartbreaking situation into something beautiful.
At a time when we felt vulnerable, you reminded us that kindness, compassion, and community spirit are stronger than any act of theft.
Because of you, our animals will be warm. Because of you, they will be comfortable. Because of you, they will continue to receive the love and care they deserve. And because of you, they will also be safer.
On behalf of every staff member, volunteer, and every animal whose life you have touched, thank you for standing with us.
