‼️SBA PROTECT – INTOXICATED MALE INJURED AFTER EMBANKMENT FALL‼️

SBA PROTECT members were dispatched to Assalam Road in the Riyadh area after an on-site security officer contacted the control room reporting a male screaming for help from nearby bushes.

Upon arrival, response units searched the area and located a male in his mid to late 30s lying in the thicket at the bottom of an embankment.

Further investigation revealed that the individual was on his way home when he slipped and fell down the embankment.

The male sustained head injuries and appeared to be highly intoxicated.

A government ambulance was dispatched to the scene to provide medical medical care and further assistance.

‼️SBA PROTECT – DRIVER FLEES MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT‼️

Vehicle Involved: White Hyundai Accent

SBA PROTECT members were dispatched to Missionlands in the Verulam area following multiple emergency calls from local residents reporting a loud crash / bang.

While patrolling the vicinity, response units located a white Hyundai Accent overturned and resting on its roof.

Further inspection at the scene revealed that the vehicle had crashed through a boundary wall prior to flipping over.

Upon checking the vehicle and surrounding area, it was established that the driver had fled the scene.

Units secured the perimeter and cleared the scene for further investigation and vehicle recovery.

SBA Protect
Emergency Medical Assist at 115 Natureview Street. Upon arrival on scene SBA Protect spoke to the patients sister, Carla. Control contacted KZN EMRS, spoke to Govender.

Govender advised that AMBO eta unconfirmed. SBA Protect member arranged with a tenant from the property to transport the patient to RK Khans. SBA Protect escorted the driver and patient to hospital, assisted the family member in walking the patient into trauma.

Patient was handed over to the trauma staff, fully conscious and communicating.

Incident has been dealt with, patient is in hospital currently and. Member resumed duties.

‼️ACCIDENT REPORT - MONTFORD DRIVE, CHATSWORTH‼️

Vehicles Involved:

White Toyota Professional

Injuries: No injuries reported

At approximately 17:05, SBA PROTECT received a report of an accident that occurred on Montford Drive, roughly 150 meters from the arena parking area.

A white Toyota Professional had stopped to avoid a collision with a vehicle exiting a driveway. Due to insufficient stopping distance behind it, a white Ford Es**rt slid into the rear of the Toyota.

The impact caused moderate damage to both vehicles.

Both drivers exchanged information and reached an amicable agreement on scene.

There were no injuries reported.

The Toyota Professional was driven away from the scene, while the Ford Es**rt required towing.

Response units have since departed, and the scene is clear.

SBA PROTECT control room dispatched members to the R102 intersection in Verulam following reports of a motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival at the scene, members confirmed a two vehicle collision involving a white Hyundai Grand i10 and a white Toyota Rumion

Two patients were treated and stabilized on scene before being transported to hospital via ambulance for further medical care.

‼️SINGLE VEHICLE ROLLOVER ON M1 EASTBOUND LEAVES ONE TRAPPED AND HOSPITALIZED WITH SERIOUS INJURIES‼️

Just after midnight on the 08 August 2026 reports were received of a major accident where a single vehicle rollover involving a VW Polo Vivo Edge occurred on the M1 Higginson Highway eastbound between Woodhurst and Bayview offramp in Chatsworth.

Upon arrival of SBA PROTECT responder it was found that the vehicle was lying on its roof directly on the railway line with a single occupant trapped inside, who had been flung into the back seat and laid out in the center.

The patient sustained a serious injury with a snapped leg and a compound fracture just above the ankle, bleeding heavily.

Attempting to extricate him, it was discovered that his left leg was entrapped and fire was called to scene.

Due to the vehicle lying on the railway line and the patient bleeding out heavily, Tow trucks and EMS managed to lift the vehicle to extricate the patient safely. By the time the Fire Department had arrived on scene, responders had already removed the patient from the vehicle.

Medics took over stabilization before the patient was assessed on scene and transported to the hospital for the further care he required.

We pray for the patient's full recovery and urge all road users to adhere to road safety protocols to prevent accidents.

‼️JOINT RESCUE OPS: TEAM EXTRACTS DRIVER AFTER VEHICLE PLUNGES DOWN EMBANKMENT ON M41 TOWARDS PHOENIX‼️

Location: R102 / M41, inbound towards Phoenix (before the Phoenix off-ramp)

At approximately 20:31, members of SBA Protect were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident reported on the R102 / M41 route, heading towards Phoenix just before the Phoenix off-ramp.

Upon arrival, SBA PROTECT responders met with emergency medical personnel from KZN VIP on scene.

A single vehicle was discovered to have left the roadway and gone down the adjacent embankment, with an occupant trapped inside.

Members from SBA Protect, KZN VIP, and SAGC Protection Services worked collaboratively to stabilize the scene and successfully free the trapped patient from the wreckage.

Once extricated, the patient was stabilized on scene by paramedics before being transported to a medical facility for further treatment.

‼️SBA PROTECT DISPATCHED TO HOUSE BREAK-IN ON CHARNWOOD ROAD, RIYADH‼️

At approximately 21:37 this evening, the 18 July 2026, SBA PROTECT members were dispatched to a residential property on Charnwood Road in the Riyadh area following reports of a house break-in.

The homeowners were not present at the time of the incident.

Upon returning home, they discovered their residence had been ransacked and immediately alerted security.

Further investigations revealed that the suspect(s) gained entry into the home through a side window.

Multiple personal items were confirmed missing from the residence, including passports and an iPad.

‼️SBA PROTECT RESPOND TO CRITICAL STABBING INCIDENT IN WATERLOO‼️

At approximately 22:07 this evening, the 18 July 2026, SBA PROTECT members were dispatched and responded to a severe stabbing incident at Lily Place in the Waterloo area, Verulam.

Upon arrival, members quickly located the victim, who had sustained a severe through-and-through stab wound to his palm and was bleeding profusely.

SBA PROTECT members immediately administered emergency first aid and successfully managed to stop the bleeding.

The patient declined further on site medical attention and ambulance transport, opting instead to be transported privately to the hospital.

‼️TWO VEHICLES RECOVERED‼️

On the 16 July 2026 at approximately 23:49, a house robbery occurred in Osindisweni.

The crime was committed by five (5) armed suspects who fled the scene with two stolen vehicles, a Suzuki S-Presso and a maroon Chevrolet Aveo.

Following the incident, a massive notification and tracking mobilization was initiated by the tracking company and SBA PROTECT, ensuring Tracking members, SAPS and SBA PROTECT networking.

Upon receiving the distress signal, SBA PROTECT activated its tracking and recovery protocols

Operations teams established direct contact and worked in active synchronization with the respective vehicle tracking companies to lock onto the vehicles' transponder signals.

Through coordinated tactical efforts, both stolen vehicles were successfully located and secured.

Suzuki S-Presso was recovered in Osindisweni not far from the house robbery and the maroon Chevrolet Aveo was recovered in Hillltop

Following the successful recovery of both vehicles, the scenes were processed, and both the Suzuki S-Presso and the Chevrolet Aveo were officially handed over to the South African Police Service (SAPS).

The vehicles have been booked into SAPS custody to facilitate further criminal investigation, forensic testing, and fingerprinting in relation to the armed house robbery.

No injuries were reported during the recovery

Investigations into the five armed suspects remain ongoing
