We are looking for a qualified service provider to design, implement and manage our Scholarship Fund Programme across Aries Solar Power (Northern Cape), Boshof Solar Power (Free State), De Aar Solar Power (Northern Cape), Droogfontein Solar Power (Northern Cape), Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm (Eastern Cape), Klipheuwel Wind Farm (Western Cape), Konkoonsies Solar Power (Northern Cape) and Soutpan Solar Power.

Closing date: Tuesday, 20 October 2026 at 16:00

The Blouberg and Molemole youth entrepreneurship days were made possible by collaboration between the two local municipalities, provincial and national government departments, funding and development agencies, and the private sector.

Alongside ourselves and the municipalities, SEDA, SEFDA, the Department of Agriculture, LEDA, SARS, NYDA, LEDET and NEF all took part – with Afrivillage appointed to organise and deliver both events on the ground.

This is what collaboration for local economic development looks like.

Young entrepreneurs who attended our recent entrepreneurship events didn’t just hear about opportunities — they met people and organisations to help them achieve their goals!

From funding and tax compliance to mentorship and market access, the organisations were available to help turn a good business idea into a sustainable one.

Representatives from the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency (SEFDA), the Department of Agriculture, the Limpopo Economic Development Agency (LEDA), SARS, the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (LEDET) and the National Empowerment Fund (NEF) were all on hand, alongside the two local municipalities.

Last month, more than 350 young entrepreneurs came to our information-sharing days, connecting young entrepreneurs with funding, mentorship and professional networks.

Working with both the Blouberg & Molemole local municipalities, we hosted two events that connected the entrepreneurs with opportunities and advice to help them grow.
