WCD WOODWORKS | LANGEBAAN

A workspace should be practical, but that doesn't mean it can't look good too.

This office space combines a clean, modern look with warm wood finishes. The slatted feature wall, floating shelves and custom desk with built-in storage bring everything together to create a workspace that is both functional and easy on the eye.

WCD WOODWORKS | PATERNOSTER

This Paternoster project was one of those jobs that covered a little bit of everything.

From kitchens and storage to other areas throughout the home, WCD Woodworks was involved in bringing practical, custom-made cabinetry together across the house.

Most areas followed a similar wood finish, giving the different spaces a sense of continuity while still allowing each area to serve its own purpose.

What we enjoyed about this project was the variety.
Different spaces, different requirements, but the same focus throughout, making sure the workmanship is right and the finished product works for the people using it.

A proper all-rounder from start to finish, completed in Paternoster.

Thank you to our client for trusting WCD Woodworks with your vision.

Something is happening at See Kaia...

While the team at See Kaia is busy getting everything ready for their new chapter, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.

And yes, WCD Woodworks is part of it.

For now, we’ll just say: watch this space.

There’s some WCD work hiding behind those renovations, and we think the finished result is going to be worth the wait.

See Kaia is getting ready. We’re proud to be part of what’s coming.

WCD Woodworks | Saldanha

This kitchen in Saldanha was designed around creating a practical space with plenty of storage, generous working areas and room for the whole family to gather.

The combination of clean white cabinetry, darker finishes and warm timber details gives the kitchen a balance between a modern look and the character of the home.

One of the standout features is the built-in glass display units with integrated lighting, creating a dedicated space for displaying glassware and special pieces. The large island adds even more workspace while also providing seating, making it a natural place to gather.

From the cabinetry and display units to the island and detailed finishing, the project was built to make the most of the space while keeping it practical for everyday living.

WCD Woodworks | St Helena Bay

Sometimes creating more space isn’t about making the house bigger. It’s about making better use of the space you already have.
This St Helena Bay project was all about doing exactly that.

From the kitchen renovation and a brand-new room with built-in cupboards, to additional storage solutions throughout the home, the goal was to create a home that feels more organised, practical and functional.

Every space has its own requirements, and that’s where the planning becomes just as important as the finished product. Taking the time to understand how a client uses their home allows us to create cupboards and storage that don’t just fill a wall, but actually make a difference to everyday living.

This project brought together a number of different elements, all with the same purpose: creating more usable storage while making the most of the space available.

We’re proud of how it all came together and of the workmanship that went into every part of the project.

Our first project in Durbanville, Cape Town

Every project has a story behind it, but this one will always hold a special place for us.

What started as a dream in the West Coast has now travelled all the way to Cape Town, not through advertising, but through the trust and recommendations of people who believe in our workmanship.

It was a true honour for us to be given the opportunity to transform this kitchen and bring our craftsmanship into a new area. From the first measurements, through the manufacturing process, to the final installation, every detail was handled with the same care and pride that we put into every project.

For those following along through the photos, the first photo shows the completed kitchen and the final result of the transformation. The photos that follow take you behind the scenes and show the project in progress, from our team hard at work to the different stages that brought this kitchen to life. The final three photos show the original designs and planning behind the project, where the vision first started before becoming a reality.

Seeing the finished result come together is always rewarding, but knowing that our clients placed their trust in WCD Woodworks for such an important part of their home means even more.

A special thank you to our Durbanville clients for welcoming us into your home and allowing us to be part of this journey. We appreciate the trust, the support, and the opportunity to leave a little piece of WCD Woodworks in Cape Town.

Our legacy continues to grow — one project, one client, and one recommendation at a time.
