A young entrepreneur whose journey is built on determination, resilience, and a vision for a better future. Originally from Zimbabwe and now based in South Africa, Lawrence arrived in the country in early 2014 carrying little more than hope, ambition, and a willingness to work hard for a better tomorrow.
Shortly after his arrival, he began offering technical services and building a reputation through dedication, honesty, and quality workmanship. What started as a personal hustle in 2015 gradually grew into a trusted service business serving homes, businesses, and communities.
Recognising the potential of what he was building, Lawrence officially established Tunga Solutions in 2018. Since then, the company has continued to expand its footprint in CCTV installations, DSTV services, electrical work, refrigeration services, and smart technology solutions. Every project completed has been another step toward a bigger vision.
Like many entrepreneurs, his journey has been filled with challenges. Building a business from the ground up in a foreign country requires courage, patience, and sacrifice. Yet through every setback, Lawrence remained committed to his dream, believing that success belongs to those who refuse to quit.
Today, Tunga Solutions represents more than just a business. It represents years of hard work, persistence, and faith in a vision that continues to grow. It is a symbol of what can be achieved when determination meets opportunity.
Most importantly, Lawrence is building a legacy that extends beyond himself. His greatest motivation comes from creating a brighter future for the next generation, particularly for Manaka Ofentse Mpondo and Mirai Onalerona Ramabenyana. Their future continues to inspire him to work harder, dream bigger, and build something that will stand the test of time.
Youth Day reminds us that success does not come overnight. It is built through perseverance, consistency, and the courage to keep moving forward when the road becomes difficult. Lawrence's story is a reminder that where you start does not determine where you can finish.
