The title _ABENATHI_ translates to “God Be With Us” in Zulu, a name she gave her son, and that same spirit of protection, hope, and resilience runs through the entire album.

As a single mother raising one child, BERITA M channels her journey into the music, balancing the warmth of motherhood with the pulse of dance floors. positions BERITA M as a fresh voice in South Africa’s evolving house scene, one that honors tradition while pushing the sound forward.
