A well-established manufacturer of industrial non-woven textiles based in Hammarsdale, KZN, is looking for a high performance Business Manager to drive the strategic and financial performance of the company across quality, sales, safety, compliance, and financial KPIs, fostering continuous improvement and growth.
This role reports directly to the Managing Director and requires a mixture of technical expertise, business and financial acumen. The position would suit candidates who are comfortable managing a team with diverse responsibilities to reach peak performance. Remuneration includes a TCTC salary and a performance bonus paid twice a year.
Requirements:
-A tertiary education in either industrial or mechanical engineering with strong financial skills, or a BCom in Business Management with a good technical grounding through extensive manufacturing experience.
-At least 10 – 15 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with the last 5 years spent in a senior management position
-Experience with CRM, & ERP systems
-Qualifications and experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
- Good understanding of ISO9001 & ISO14001 systems, including Control Plans, FMEA’s (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis), PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) and PSW (Parts Submission Warrant)
