If you just get in your formulas... do an Iferror function, and they will all go away
=iferror(the formula you are using, "value to use if error occurs")

Ever needed to see the total without really needing to do a formula?
Highlight the cells, and look at the bottom of your screen... it will give you the count, the sum and the average.- so from my example- i have 12 people spending a total of R 3381.80 making it an average spend of R281.82

Conditional formatting (on the HOME TAB), is an extremely powerful function.
It allows you to format cells according to conditions you set out. In my example below I have highlighted all dates that are after 2000. Every time I type a date that occurs after 2000, it will automatically be formatted pink.
It can also apply to text. You can set up to highlight every time a certain word appears.
It makes long lists easier to analyse- for instance, I use it in bank statements to highlight deposits (every time the transaction is above 0), or every time the work "bank charges" appears in the description, it changes the cells colour.
There are multiple uses for this function. It will highlight the top or bottom 10% of the figures, highlight figures that are above or below average, show you dates ranges that occur between 2 dates...the list is endless... just give it a try
