🇿🇦 Nog ’n goeie nuusstorie en positiewe uitkoms, danksy sigbare patrollering! 👏

Gister, terwyl ons Z06-reaksiebeampte in Worcester-Wes op patrollie was, is hy deur ’n inwoner wat besig was met opknappingswerk, voorgekeer. Die inwoner het hom meegedeel dat ’n verdagte pas sy gereedskap en selfoon gesteel het.

Z06 het onmiddellik ondersteuning ontbied, waarna Z3, Z4 en Z1 gereageer het om te help. Ná ’n deeglike soektog het die span die verdagte uiteindelik op die N1 aangekeer.

’n Saak is geopen en die verdagte is aan SAPD oorhandig.

Dit is ’n uitstekende voorbeeld van die waarde van plaaslike sekuriteitsdienste, sigbare patrollering en voldoende ondersteuning wat naby is wanneeFidelity Services Groupe saak maak.

🇿🇦Another good news story and positive outcome, thanks to visible patrolling! 👏

Yesterday, while on patrol in Worcester West, our Z06 response officer was stopped by a resident who was busy with renovations. The resident informed him that a suspect had just stolen his tools and cellphone.

Z06 immediately called for backup, with Z3, Z4 and Z1 responding to assist. After a thorough search of the area, the team eventually caught the suspect on the N1.

A case was opened and the suspect was handed over to SAPS.

This is a great example of the value of localised security services, visible patrolling and having sufficient backup close at hand when it matters most.

Well done to the Fidelity Seevices Group team in Worcester! 😊👏

Swift Response Leads to Arrest and Recovery of Stolen Property

At approximately 05:42, our Control Room received an alarm activation from our valued client, Vallei FM. Control Room Operator Ghurswon immediately dispatched Response Officer Mapiko, who arrived on scene and discovered a break-in.

The suspect had gained access through the rear of the premises and stolen power tools and a large speaker box. With assistance from the caretaker and the use of available photographs, the suspect was positively identified.

During ongoing patrols at 09:05, Response Officer Lincoln spotted and detained the suspect near Grey Street and Durban Street. Some stolen items were recovered, and further investigation revealed additional property hidden in the graveyard area and Roodewal.

The team went the extra mile by conducting further investigations, and with the assistance of Control Room Operator Marchelene, Worcester SAPS was contacted. The remaining stolen property was recovered and returned to the client, and the suspect was arrested.

This successful operation highlights the teamwork, dedication, and commitment of our control room operators and response officers, who went above and beyond to assist the client and ensure a positive outcome. Fidelity Services Group

👏 Uitstekende spanwerk tussen ons Worcester Wes-gemeenskap, ons beheerkamer en reaksiespan! 👏

Om 16:10 vanmiddag het ons ’n stemboodskap op die Worcester Wes WhatsApp-groep ontvang dat ’n man ’n seun van sy fiets afgestamp en die fiets gesteel het.

Ons beheerkamer het onmiddellik opgetree en die reaksiespan ontbied. Binne enkele minute is die gesteelde fiets opgespoor, en kort daarna is die verdagte ook gevind en aan SAPD oorhandig.

Die verdagte is in hegtenis geneem, en die fiets is veilig aan die seun terugbesorg danksy ons offisiere, Joseph Armstrong en Veyonn Pienaar, se flinke optrede.

Ons is bewus van soortgelyke voorvalle wat onlangs in Langerug plaasgevind het. Daarom wil ons weer beklemtoon hoe belangrik dit is dat die gemeenskap enige verdagte aktiwiteite onmiddellik aanmeld. Wanneer ons saamwerk, kan ons vinnig optree en help om misdaad hok te slaan.

Jacques Jonas, baie dankie vir die ekstra myl wat jy saam met Dean gestap, om vir hom behulp te staan gedurende die uitdagende tyd. Ons is bevoorreeg om jou as ‘n kollega te hê. 🙏

Not all heroes wear capes!

This speaks volumes for our Worcester Community Operations Manager, Jacques Jonas who went above and beyond to assist a truck driver from Engen that was stuck without food.

He drove to the driver that was in his vehicle at the weighbridge between Worcester and Rawsonville. This road was obstructed due to flooding, but Jacques still collected the driver at 18:30pm, took the driver to his home and provided him with a hot meal. He offered shelter, but the driver wanted to sleep in his truck out of concern for the safety of the cargo.

The next day he accompanied the driver to a safe location and assisted until the driver was able to safely depart. Johnny Wijnen and JJ Motsoeneng, from Engen, paid our Fidelity ADT team a visit to thank Jacques for his assistance.

We salute our team for their amazing acts of kindness in true Fidelity style.
