The type of note that your social media manager should be leaving for themselves…

Good communication is saying it perfectly.

Okay, I have to say it… I told you so. 😂

I have been watching this AI poster trend play out for a while now, and I have been saying for ages that I do not think this is a great direction for branding.

Why on earth would you want to communicate:
- I do not care enough to invest in my marketing...
- I take shortcuts...
- Nothing differentiates me from other brands...
- I just do the same thing that everybody else does...

That is what these posters do!

And now we are seeing the most interesting thing happen: people are deliberately going in the opposite direction.

This recent "handwritten note" trend is the perfect example.

We are in such an interesting transition period with AI right now. I genuinely think we are going to see a bigger shift towards personality, originality and human connection as AI-generated content becomes more and more common.

Where do you think we are heading?

Are we going to get tired of AI content and start craving more human-created content?

Or will AI become so good that eventually we will not care whether something was created by a person or a machine?

Let’s have a conversation. 👇

I really love doing this! 🥹💛

These past few weeks, I got to spend some one-on-one time with Charlene from Pool Transport, helping her get more confident with Canva.

I offer one-on-one Canva training for any level, whether you are starting from scratch and have no idea where to begin, or you are already using Canva and want to learn more.

We work through exactly what you need for your business, at your own pace, with practical things you can actually use afterwards.

If Canva feels a little overwhelming (or you know that you are not using it to its full potential), send me a WhatsApp. 😊

Being a woman in business does not always look like the pretty, productive, perfectly balanced version we see online.

Sometimes it is just figuring it out as you go.

So here’s to the women building businesses, raising kids, looking after families, running households, showing up for everyone else, and somehow still trying to make space for themselves.

I see you. Happy Women’s Day.

Today, your caption, visuals, and keywords tell the algorithm what your content is about. Hashtags reinforce that message.

Instead of using lots of random hashtags, try this simple formula:

1 Brand hashtag
Example:

1 Search hashtag
Example:

1 Product or service hashtag
Example:

1 Community or interest hashtag
Example:

Focus on writing a caption that is valuable, natural, and rich with the words your audience is actually searching for. Then use a handful of relevant hashtags to support that message.
