Have you heard of the pelican bird?

There is a popular legend of a strange bird called the pelican.
According to the myth, the pelican bird during famine, will pierce its own chest with her beak and feed her young with her blood. Consequently, the mother bird bleeds to death so that her offspring will live.

The Pelican bird has become the symbol of selflessness and sacrifice. Her action is similar to what Christ did for humanity. By shedding his blood, he gave us life and salvation.

Next to the love of God is a mother's love for her child. No matter what a woman achieves in life, her joy remains incomplete when any of her children is lagging behind.

About this time last year, I experienced a very tragic event. My greatest fear at that time was how to mention it to my mum. When I finally summoned the courage to tell her, she became more worried than I was. It was as if my pain was hers. She was cut deep into the inner chambers of her soul. This is the signature of all mothers.

Our mothers shed blood for us to be where we are today. There are blood dripping out from the heart of those housekeepers. There are groaning and utterances that remain unquenched.

Dear young fellow, for the sake of Mama, don't do it. Before you give up, think home. Your life is more than what you make of it alone. Mama is counting on you to complete the joy of her womanhood. Don't be the reason why that woman will strike her breast in pain and regret.

When you become the reason for the tears of your mother, you may have to pay for it with your entire life. No devotion can undo the hurt coming from the wounded heart of a mother.

I understand that, there are too many voices out there, giving all kinds of suggestions. While you listen to them compare those propositions to what Mama said. Her words will never be outdated.

- No, I just heard it.
- Very good! So, you don't know if it's true. We continue with the second sieve, that of KINDNESS. What you want to tell me about my friend, is it good?
- Oh, no! On the contrary.
- So, questioned Socrates, you want to tell me bad things about him and you're not even sure they're true? Maybe you can still pass the test of the third sieve, that of UTILITY. Is it useful that I know what you're going to tell me about this friend?

- So, concluded Socrates, what you were going to tell me is neither true, nor good, nor useful. Why, then, did you want to tell me this?

Gossips undresses and shames and leaves innocent people who cannot defend themselves vulnerable. It unclothes human dignity and shames the others unfairly. We kill innocent people with our gossip and bad mouthing… Gossip is the stripping of human dignity by bitter souls…

Zimbabwean millionaire is buying toes from poor Zimbabweans. He is giving them close to 40 000 US Dollars or a brand new car to cut their toe in public.

Videos of the rich guy cutting toes made circulations since yesterday. Poor Zimbabweans are taking the offer. One young male can be seen limping from pain bragging about his brand new Toyota that he received after cutting his toe.

Before King Ahmed of Ottoman went to war, he locked his wife (the beautiful Queen) in a private room and gave the key to his best friend Mousa and said: "If I'm not back in four days, open the room and she's yours ... "

He climbed on his horse and gallops off towards the battlefield. Half an hour later, the King noticed a cloud of dust behind him. He stopped and saw his friend galloping very fast towards him.

"What's wrong ?" Asked the King. Out of breath, his friend Mousa responded: "You gave me the wrong key"

Can you imagine !

He didn't even wait for the said 4days before trying the keys.

Be careful with the one you consider your best "friends" and whom you think you can entrust them with your hard earned treasure - they could be wishing you dead soon and hopefully inherit your God-given fortune!
