SUBJECT: PATIENTLY AWAITING OFFICIAL RESULTS AND DECLARATION FROM THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF ZAMBIA - ECZ
Fellow Citizens of Chilanga,
I, CHABINAG WODLA, Former independent Candidate for Councilor for Chilanga, wish to address the people of Chilanga and all stakeholders.
I write to formally confirm that I have *patiently submitted my complaints* to the Electoral Commission of Zambia regarding the recently held Local Government elections in *Chilanga Constituency/Ward*.
I remain *committed to due process, peace, and the rule of law*. In that spirit, and good faith.
As a law-abiding citizen and servant of the people, I believe in due process and the institutions that govern our democracy.
Therefore, I am patiently waiting for the official declaration of results from the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
I also respectfully await a *Declaratory Order* from the relevant authorities regarding the matters raised in my submission dated August 18,2026.
I trust that the Commission will handle this matter with fairness, transparency, and in accordance with the Electoral Process Act.
Please be assured of my continued cooperation. I am available to provide any further information or clarification that may assist the Commission in resolving the matter.
I urge all my supporters, the people of Chilanga, and all Zambians to remain calm, peaceful, and united during this period. Let us allow the Commission to do its work without interference.
We are one people. Our focus must remain on development, unity, and the will of the people of Chilanga.
I remain committed to serving you with integrity, and I will communicate the next steps as soon as the Commission pronounces itself.
