They said men don’t cry 😢, we do…but only when it hits the soul…one morning at UTH i received a certain old lady who brought a boy with a fractured leg and needed a POP…looking at the lady I could see her pain and her silent prayer just to want to see her grandson ok, I asked about the mother “died last week” I could see her hold her tears back😢…I had to put a POP on that boy for free despite the hospital policy requesting patients to pay for such services…after we were done the old lady thank me and said her fairwell, atleast there was a smile on her face at that time😁….Here comes the sad part🥺💔prior to the procedure I told the lady to do all the paperwork, not knowing whoever attended to her requested for money and she paid her LAST k80….the granny left the hospital premises and about like after 40mins I was ready to knock off, driving just across civic center near bayport and I spot a familiar old lady carrying a heavy child on her back, clearly exhausted 😩.Then I remembered that’s the lady with a child I just attended to almost 40mins ago. I stopped her and introduced myself and she remembered me before I could finish the introduction and I asked her where she going (home) she said kanyama. “Are you walking from uth hospital to kanyama?” She responded with yes, I became concerned. “But why granny?” Her response made me cry tears from deep “the last money I had they told me to pay at the hospital, I asked her if she was given any receipt and there was nothing...💔😢
A civil servant demanded for the last money from an old trying lady😢… That’s clear stealing.. stealing from the poor, stealing from a vulnerable woman who couldn’t even ask what was the charge was for.
Heartless💔I couldn’t hold my tears 😩😭😢..Humanity and it’s cruelty 💔
